Easily Split your Scanned Files (TIFF)

Split your files using Blank Page Detection or Split every "n" pages. Use file splitting to speed up the scanning process or better manage the contents of your scanned files.

Split Using Blank Page Detection

Open any scanned file (Tiff format) with pageREnew and insert blank pages wherever you would like the file separated into individual files. Or, scan a group of documents with a blank piece of paper between each of the documents. pageREnew then splits the scan into separate files at every blank page.

Selecting the blank pages is easy. A Blank Page Slider accurately selects only the blank pages. The control is very sensitive to ensure that pages with only a small amount of text won't be mistakenly identified as a blank pages.

You can customize the naming conventions and output paths for the newly created files. And save the new files to PDF or TIFF. Please note that after you save to PDF, you will not be able to open the file with pageREnew, you will need pdfREnew. Make sure you save to PDF as your last step or keep your files in a TIFF format.

Split Scans Every "N" Pages

pageREnew can split a scanned file every "n" pages. You specify the number of pages per file. You have file naming options and can save the new files to PDF or TIFF.

You can use this split file technique to speed up scanning. If you have a group of files that are all the same number of pages, scan them all at once. Then use pageREnew to split the scanned file(s) into separate documents according to a number of pages you specify. For example, you have a group of 2 page documents -- tell pageREnew to create a new document every 2 pages.

File Naming Conventions for the New Documents

You can customize the naming conventions and output paths for the newly created files. And save the new files to PDF or TIFF. Please remember that if you save your files to PDF, you will not be able to re-open them.
