Raster Editing is Easier than Ever with echive® RasterREnew Version 2.7

Windham, NH; April 8, 2005 - Open Archive Systems, Inc., a leading provider of document and drawing management solutions, released echive® RasterREnew Version 2.7. This update adds symbol support, a highlight tool, enhanced batch handling, mouse right click menu options and keyboard shortcuts.

echive RasterREnew is a universal raster editor for making changes to scanned drawings. With simple CAD-like drafting tools, users can quickly manipulate existing geometry, create new geometry or text and measure between distances. Files can be printed with or without bannering and watermarks, saved to TIFF or exported to PDF.

With the added symbol support, users can speed up the raster editing process by creating and saving frequently used symbols. And, keyboard shortcuts easily toggle a grid display and ortho snapping for accurately adding or editing geometry. As with all the drawing and editing tools, the new highlighter tool has options that can be easily viewed and changed with a right click of the mouse.
