The echive^® Series of Document Management is Demonstrated
at the Annual Kyocera Mita National Dealer Meeting

Windham, NH; May 8, 2003 - Open Archive Systems, Inc., a leading provider of document and drawing management solutions, was invited to participate in the Annual Kyocera Mita Dealer Meeting. At this show, Open Archive demonstrated 2 software products - their echive^® Series and the GTXScanClean^tm Version 3.0 for Office. More than 1,000 Kyocera Mita Dealers and Resellers attended this meeting.

Earlier this year, Open Archive Systems entered into a partnership with Kyocera Mita to bundle an entry-level version of echive software with all of their wide format digital equipment. Kyocera Mita is committed to a solution selling strategy that includes providing software solutions to enhance their equipment offerings. This Lite version of TIFIndexer allows Kyocera Mita customers to take the first step toward building a document search and retrieval system (archiving solution).

The intelligent despeckling capability of the GTXScanClean software also impressed resellers. With its ability to differentiate a speckle from a dot over an “i” and its unattended image enhancement tools, many Kyocera Mita dealers recognized its value in both the office and engineering environments.

Another big hit at the show was the introduction of a custom lease calculation program for Palm handheld devices. Using the Open Archive Lease Calculator, sales reps can select any Kyocera Mita, echive and GTX product to generate quotes using current lease rates and ROI (Return on Investment) information. This Palm application will be available in third quarter 2003.
