  • Managing Correspondence Records
  • A high security facility in the United States has implemented an echive system for managing all inmate correspondence. Scanning inmate correspondence creates a permanent electronic archive which is then indexed according to the inmates name into an echive database system. The scanned correspondences are preserved as secure images with all original graphics and text. These files are maintained for archive and review by other Homeland Security divisions.

  • Tracking US Army Trainee’s
  • The U.S. Army recruits and trains foreign nationals in hopes of establishing stronger pro-democracy governments. Unfortunately, not all these students remain loyal and some turn to anti-government agendas. To simplify information access on these individuals, the US Army turned to an echive solution. It is presently scanning and indexing its library of course work and attendee’s into a full text (SurroundSearchtm) searchable database. The database dates back to the early 50’s and includes individuals such as Manual Noriega and other known adversaries. Now the US Army can conduct quick one step searches to access critical historical information.
