Government Solutions

From small towns and cities to the US Government, echive solves paper management issues, saves money, and creates timeless solutions for data management. Whether archiving historical records or organizing a multi-format office, echive provides an efficient index, search, view, and print solution.

Scanning original records creates a secure electronic archive in an industry standard format. Add property field indexing (searchable categories, ie. year, meeting type, issues addressed, etc.) and full text indexing to create a system that can quickly and accurately sort through many historical records. Paper historical records as well as current electronic files can be managed with the same solution.

Applications

  Town Maps - A Multi-format Environment
echive provides a viewing and management solution for the many maps that need to be maintained by state, county, and local governments. One New England town implemented an echive database to improved retrieval and access. The echive Series provided a framework for incorporating existing maps (both paper and CAD) and organizing file information. Now, search, view, redline (annotation) and print capability is available for all town employees. More

  Public Record Management
Managing and accessing historical town records is a natural fit for the echive solution. echive helped one small town go from a mixed paper and electronic (typed pages, MSWord, WordPerfect, etc.) situation to an organized and full text searchable database environment. This paves the way for state and local governments to efficiently manage and provide public access to their historical assets. More

  Inmate Correspondence Records get Archived
A high security facility in the United States has implemented an echive system for managing and archiving inmate correspondence. Scanning captures the correspondence which is then indexed according to the inmates name into an echive database system. The scanned correspondences are preserved as TIF images which contains all original graphics and text. These files are maintained for archive and review by other Homeland Security divisions.

  Tracking US Army Trainee’s
The U.S. Army recruits and trains foreign nationals in hopes of establishing stronger pro-democracy governments. Unfortunately, not all these students remain loyal and some turn to anti-government agendas. To simplify the tracking of these individuals, the US Army turned to an echive solutions. It is presently scanning and indexing its library of course work and attendee’s into a full text (SurroundSearchTM) searchable database. The database dates back to the early 50’s and includes individuals such as Manuel Noriega. Now the US Army can conduct quick one step searches to access critical historical information.
