One step scan and index solution


Integrate scanning with affordable document management and archiving Scan and index in one step with eCopy and echive® for cost-effective and full-featured document management.

Organize your information Easily add index (searchable information) intelligence to your files while scanning. Users complete index field information about the scan using barcodes, the eCopy soft keyboard or an administrator-defined dropdown list. Indexing prepares scans for easy search and retrieval.

Send this index information to an echive database (more information below or go to our echive Series page) or any MS Access, SQL or XML database.

Find and use your files The echive Connector includes echive Organizer, part of the echive Series of document management. After scanning, users locate files using any combination of these index fields and full text searching. A built-in viewer with zoom, pan and magnify displays the files.

Users can add notes or comments to any file for other users to read. These notes are on a separate layer so the original file remains unchanged.

Any file can be launched into its native application for editing, sent via email, printed. or published to CD/DVD.

And there is more echive is a full-featured document management and archiving solution. It supports all common file formats so you can also add your existing files to the database. A unique Windows Explorer-style interface, powerful viewing and multiple file sharing options deliver the benefits of document management with echive:
