The Batch REnew Connector is our first eCopy connector solution. It provides barcode recognition and image clean up for ShareScan 4.1 and earlier. For ShareScan 4.2 and later, users can take advantage of the Open Archive Service. OAS will continue to support our Batch REnew Connector, please contact us if you have any questions. Batch REnew ConnectorThe Batch REnew Connector has both barcode recognition and image clean up to create a complete batch scanning process. 
Barcode RecognitionSplit Files Split files using blank pages, barcodes or a numeric interval. Name Files File name is defined by the Administrator using barcodes and/or standard eCopy Advanced Naming rules such as date and time. Route files Use barcodes to automatically route files to a Windows folder. Image Clean-upThe Batch REnew Connector automatically runs image clean-up while scanning for hands-free and quick processing. The administrator can choose to provide the user with an interface at the console for selecting image clean-up options or can pre-select image clean up options that will run behind the scenes.
The Batch REnew Connector is based on our Batch REnew Software, part of our Renew Series of software solutions that improve the ability to work with scans and PDF files.
